Standard Size 34 HN Series hybrid steppers are available in three models (lengths 2.64” to 4.92”) with step resolutions of 1.8º (200 steps per rev) in full-step mode. Holding torques (bipolar) from 397 oz-in to 1076 oz-in can be achieved, depending on model.

All motors incorporate neodymium magnets for maximum torque and superior acceleration; precision-honed stators and ground rotors for tight air gap and improved performance; 4, 6, or 8 leads upon request; single- or double-ended shaft extensions; and simple, rugged construction promoting high reliability and long service life.

Motor rotation can run clockwise or counterclockwise. Value-added customization options include gearboxes (planetary, spur, worm, or right angle) with standard or low backlash, encoders, brakes, and special shaft, endbelt, and cabling. The motors are CE approved, manufactured according to EN 60034-1: 1995-02 specifications, and can be provided to meet IP55 dust and splash-proof protection.

The hybrid stepper motors in the range conform to the international NEMA standard, and provide 200 steps /rev when used with full step drives or 400 steps per revolution in the preferred half step drive mode. The internal construction has also been optimised for microstepping resulting in improved smoothness of operation. Where increased torque and resolution is required at reduced speed a range of gearheads are available. The motors are suitable for use with either Uni-polar or Bi-polar drive circuits, the 23HS series having 8 leads to provide the choice of parallel or series connection. Despite the high quality of the latest generation HS series, the units remain competitively priced. The 23HS series offer a choice of single or double shaft when encoders or parking brakes are required and a wide range of drive and control modules are available to construct complete high performance systems.

Motor lengths range from 0.81” to 8.89” and holding torques (bipolar) from 12 oz-in to 2018 oz-in can be achieved, depending on model.

Size 17 motors additionally are available in enhanced high-performance versions optimized for microstep operation. These are designed in three lengths (1.37”, 1.61”, or 2.01”) and can achieve holding torques (bipolar) from 37 oz-in to 71 oz-in, depending on model.
